Carlton Main would like to introduce and welcome the band’s new principal cornet player, 𝘾𝙡𝙖𝙞𝙧𝙚 𝙏𝙖𝙮𝙡𝙤𝙧.

Claire has been a friend of the band for many years and despite dressing her up as a flapper girl for Brass in Concert in 2022 and numerous other shenanigans, we are delighted that Claire commenced her era with the band last night as it returned from its summer break.

After a highly successful playing period leading the Hepworth Band over the past few years winning numerous solo prizes (as pictured with one of our favourite Frickley friends Philip Wilby), Claire will make her contest debut leading Team Frickley at the British Open in September 20243.
